Twisted Tales offer a reinterpretation on the classic stories and fairy tales, aiming at reflecting today’s reality. More specifically, their idea is to fight stereotypes by putting diverse characters at the heart of its storytelling. By including physical, mental or racial diversity, among others, they expect to help parents and children to ‘de-stigmatise’ and eliminate bias.
Both parents and children participate shaping the story in a technologically advanced, playful and gamified way. Twisted Tales full package includes different formats, such as storyapp, webisode, or TV series. The company also offers support for parents, teacher and kids, to help them make the most out of the experience.
In the picture, Cinda Real, the first character in the series of Twisted Tales, offers a new and empowering perspective on the tale of Cinderella by introducing the stigma of physical disability into the narrative.
