Federico Walbaum is a Senior Executive with wide international experience in leading companies, and a creative leader with a proven expertise in developing and leading high-performing multicultural teams, corporate reorganizations, business development and growth management. Federico completed his undergraduate in Business Administration in Lima Perú and a post graduate course at Harvard University. While he was working in an European role in Spain he did an Executive MBA at IE Business School and then he moved back to his hometown Lima to work in the Oil and Gas / Energy sectors. During 2014 Federico completed an Executive Development Program at Wharton School of Business and an entrepreneurship program at Chicago Booth. He currently runs in Lima MATE museum. MATE is a not-for-profit institution established by Mario Testino in 2012 devoted to the cultivation and promotion of contemporary culture in Peru. The vision of MATE is to create a vibrant, prosperous environment for individual expression, to celebrate Peru’s contribution to arts and culture in the world, and to stimulate the creative industry in Peru. Federico also runs MT Ventures which is the incubator of different projects aimed to build a creative ecosystem under the umbrella of Mario Testino.
