While completing his Bachelor’s degree in Finance at HEC Montreal, Guillaume Therien began his professional life at Sony Music as a sales & marketing representative. The promotion of local artists and the relationship with retailers were at the heart of his mandate. From there, he moved on to marketing agency Mosaic, running North American campaigns for big brands Diageo, Labatt, TD, Rogers, Sirius XM and many other clients. Guillaume Therien has always been inspired by arts & culture; this is as Sales and Marketing Director of Opera de Montréal that he found a way to combine his business sense with his artistic side. Guillaume Therien’s job was to help keep the whole operation afloat by generating revenues, renewing the audience, implementing a digital strategy & repositioning the brand. Previously acting director at Quebecor and Just for Laugh, Guillaume Thérien is now leading the creative hub Zú
