CEO and co-founder of 6Degrees, a startup that aims to help people who have lost the use of their upper limbs and hands to reclaim their digital life. Our motion-based controller translates the movements into computer commands on any operating system or smart device. One of the topics closest to my heart is assisting army veterans return to society and reintegrate into the workforce; our device helps them do so.
An Industrial designer by trade, with a particular interest in materials & manufacturing processes. Completed a master’s degree in Industrial Design from the Pratt Institute in New York (2013), and a B.F.A. in Ceramic Design from the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem (2008). What motivates me as a designer is my passion to continually look for opportunities to help improve the lives of others.
With more than 10 years of work experience, I had the good fortune to be involved in a wide varietyds of toys, furniture, tiles, wristwatches, soft goods, kitchenware, and electronics. I continue to mature and evolve as a designer through hands-on study and hard work. I believe that all experience is formed and that innovative design requires the ability to respond to any challenge with empathy, collaboration, drive, and technical skill.
