Since 2013, Forfatterskolen PS! offered writing courses for people with a mental illness. The school is run by professional writers with knowledge of literature practice for vulnerable groups and several years of teaching experience. 

She had her fiction debut in 2013 with the novel "The Prophet's Daughter", published by Tiderne Skifter. The novel "How to get away" was published on October 6, 2016 by the publisher Jensen & Dalgaard. Sofie is a member of Danish Fiction Authors.
