San Francisco-based YouNoodle helps startup founders get advice, prizes, and opportunities through its global network of startup competitions. Today, the YouNoodle team counts 20 people of 10 different nationalities, and its products and services are used by Start-Up Chile, Amazon Startup Challenge, and Stanford’s BASES E-Challenge, among many others.

Prior to YouNoodle, Torsten was CEO of Venture Cup, the largest entrepreneurship competition in Denmark. He holds an MSc in Biotechnology from the Technical University of Denmark, and has spent time at University College London, Southern Methodist University, and Universidad Santa Maria (Chile) as part of his studies. Torsten has judged entrepreneurship competitions at Stanford, MIT, and Imperial College, among others.

Torsten has been building web products since he started his first company at age 16. He’s passionate about the global startup revolution and how entrepreneurs are changing the world, and regularly presents these findings as a keynote speaker at conferences around the world. Torsten loves algorithmic challenges and is an avid musician. He’s Danish at birth, European at heart.
