During this summer Managing Director of Creative Business Cup, Rasmus Wiinstedt Tscherning was invited by President Barack Obama to the 6th Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES). An event co-hosted by the Governments of United States and Kenya. Here Rasmus Tscherning spoke about the future of the creative economy.
The summit took place on July 25-26 in Nairobi, where approximately 1.000 entrepreneurs and investors met. It was the first GES summit held in sub-Saharan Africa. The Summit focused on African-based solutions and displayed how investors and entrepreneurs can connect with the continent in new ways.
During the summit, winner of Creative Business Cup 2013 Teddy the Guardian was on stage during a panel discussion, with President Obama, President Kenyatta, Judith Owegar, co-founder of Akirachix and Jahiel Oliver, CEO of Hello Tractor.
We would like to thank our National Partners in Kenya, who have been a part of Creative Business Cup since the very first international competition in 2012.
