IZONE will host the first ever Creative Business Cup in Ukraine. We asked our new National Partner to tell us a little bit about their organization and what their plans are for running the national Creative Business Cup finals.
IZONE is a project of IZOLYATSIA foundation aimed at fostering the creative industries in Ukraine. We are a creative community providing an open access to workshops for all interested. We work for the community development of professionals from the creative industries and those who wish to join the industry. Currently, we provide the following labs: IzoLab (the 3D printing lab), FotoLab, Woodwork lab, Lithographic lab, Silkscreen printing lab, and catering. IZONE supplies the public with three long-term course: academic drawing, photography, and robotic technology. We also host external events like Drink&Draw Party, Printing Fest, Electronic Pictures etc.
Mission – We champion emerging talent in contemporary practice set within the context of the arts, creative industries and technology. We foster a dynamic environment whereby the emphasis is on the creative process, investigation and cultural production.
The CBC Ukraine will consist of three major parts: first, before the creative business ideas submission, the IZONE team provides an IZONE Business Challenge for ideation and development of proper business plans and pitches. During the submission period, the IZONE team will offer consultations to the public and media. Finally, the final event will be launched with international jury and investors.
The IZONE Business Challenge as an incubation course has its own Facebook group and 250 subscribers for the worksheets of individual ideation.
