Creative Business Network is no exception – we have decided to cancel BRIGHT and Creative Business Cup Global Finals in 2020, due to the very possible health risks that would arise by gathering people from 80 different countries in Copenhagen by the end of June.
After careful consideration, we came to the conclusion that the health and well-being of all participants will always be our top priority – we want to deliver the best possible and safest experience for everyone!

And now, we look forward. Because we still have so many exciting things coming in 2020!
We are currently working on the details and cannot wait to share everything with you, but for the time being, here is a quick run through some of our upcoming projects:

First of all, we have regional summits coming up in both Lagos, Nigeria and Montreal, Canada. For now, both have been postponed until late summer or early autumn. Creative Business Cup Denmark has also been postponed, following the same time frame. We are also happy to say that we will continue conduct our advisory services as usual and have a lot of upcoming events in the works, which we will tell you much more about as soon as we can. As for our general operation, we are going back to where it all began – as our managing director, Rasmus Wiinstedt Tscherning puts it:

“We will focus on the core of what we do. We will focus on the network, by focusing on the people, that makes the network come alive. We will tell the stories of the startups, of the investors that invested in them, of the national partners that promoted them and of the solutions that they have all contributed in bringing into the world.”

In light of the cancellation of the global finals, we are redirecting all of our time and focus towards our community of creatives. We are your network. First and foremost, Creative Business Network is exactly that – a network built to support creative entrepreneurs around the world.
And that will never be cancelled. Right now, community matters more than ever, which essentially means we are going back to basics.

We believe in you and we want to do our best to not just tell you, but to show you, especially by putting more time into telling your stories. In times like these, where the way we usually work is challenged, we want to make an extra effort to stay in touch. Luckily, there are plenty of ways to work in the virtual world, thanks to the creative industries!
